Visit the Beautiful Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is naturally stunning to look at, due to the beautiful coastline and sea views that make up this area of Italy. Towering green hills and mountains descend into a sparkling blue sea, an Amalfi Coast wedding provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding location - especially if you’re looking to marry in Southern Italy.

Find Yourself in Pretty Positano

Positano weddings are brilliant for variety with options for those wanting a civil ceremony to marry in the beautiful Positano Town Hall before moving on to host your reception at one of our stunning Italy wedding venues.

If you’d prefer a traditional Catholic wedding, the Postinao Catholic Church of Santa Maria Assunta is a religious and archaeological landmark. Here Catholic couples can say their vows surrounded by friends and family.

After making your marriage official you can host your reception in the stunning Poseidon Hotel that’s nestled amongst the hilltops with a sea view. The hotel's restaurant, Il Tridente, serves an array of amazing delights from the region, with a swimming pool and piano bar adding extra entertainment for the occasion.

Naples and Sorrento wedding offers some spectacular Italy wedding venues in a range of locations that suit every couple.

Discover the Beauty of Venice

Venice is well known as a romantic destination for couples, with the city itself situated on several canals, giving the area a picturesque beauty. It's also an increasingly popular honeymoon destination, so if you choose a wedding in Venice, you won’t have to go far to enjoy the holiday of your dreams after your actual wedding ceremony!

If you're hoping for a little more luxury, the Ca Sagredo Hotel is a magnificent 5-star hotel, situated on the Grand Canal in Venice. This hotel is actually a 15th-century palace that has designated official monument status, with a grand staircase that makes your wedding photos look out of this world.

Seek Out Serenity in Lake Garda

Lake Garda is a stunning lake at the bottom of the Alps and makes the perfect peaceful wedding destination for you and your spouse. Several picturesque resort towns are available for a Lake Garda wedding, with ample opportunity for festivities for all the family.

There are lots of outdoor activities in the area, including cycling, hiking and watersports, so you can add something a little different to your dream wedding!

The Ristorante Treccan is a fabulous location in Lake Garda that features first-class fine dining for you and your guests, making sure your wedding will be memorable for years to come! The terrace caters to up to 120 guests, so you can create a magical atmosphere for a wedding reception that will stretch out long into the evening!

Escape to Fabulous Florence for Your Wedding

Explore a cultural and historical hotspot and enjoy a celebration surrounded by classic architecture with a Florence wedding. A wide range of venues and locations are at your fingertips in this city, with options for historical villas, vineyard weddings or rustic farmhouse ceremonies.

Florence is the ideal place for adult weddings where you can dance the night away in private vineyards, enjoy stunning wines and fabulous foods.

Bask in the Peace of Lake Como

Another beautiful part of Italy to host your wedding is the glorious Lake Como, which can be found just a few hours' drive north of Milan. It's slightly quieter than Lake Garda, so if you want a bit of peace, a Lake Como wedding is a lovely location.

Bellagio is one of the most famous towns in the area, making it a popular location for weddings in the Lake Como area. Civil marriage ceremonies can be held at Bellagio Town Hall, with this location also featuring a selection of elegant hotels, quaint shops and a promenade.

Weddings in Italy FAQs

Booking a wedding with us is easy! Look through our selection of Italian wedding destinations, pick a few venues and locations you think would suit you and get in touch. From there, our experts can help you build a customised package according to your budget and tastes or recommend a suitable readymade all-inclusive bundle at a set price.

The right time to get married in Italy will depend on the type of weather conditions you are wanting for your wedding. Since the weather is usually warm and pleasant during May, June, September, and October, these are usually the busiest months but offer the best weather. July and August can be quite hot and make for uncomfortable conditions. In contrast, winter months are less popular and cheaper, but there is an increased chance of rain and milder temperatures.

It’s fairly easy to marry in Italy if you’re not a resident but there are a few legal requirements needed before you say “I do”. You’ll need to apply for a certificate or no impediment which confirms you’re legally allowed to marry, as well as provide ID documents including birth certificates and passports. When you choose a TWTC wedding planner, we’ll handle all the processes and procedures and get everything in order before you land on Italian soil.

A wedding planner is an easy way to make your wedding experience as stress-free as possible. Our experts will handle all the complicated things, from legal applications and documents to venue coordination and reception set-up. We’ll handle all the logistics so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your time as a couple while everything is being handled for you on your big day.
