Weddings in Portugal can vary in price depending on the venue and package you go for. If you choose to go all out and book a luxury 5-star hotel and fully inclusive package, this will obviously cost more. Getting married in Portugal doesn’t have to break the bank, however, and our range of packages means you can choose the right venue and inclusions to suit you.
If you’re a British citizen it’s fairly straightforward to get married in Portugal. The only thing different from the documentation you’d need to marry in the UK is a marriage license, which you can get from the Civil Registry Office. The only thing to bear in mind is that the process can take up to a month to approve so ensure you have plenty of time before you fly out.
If you want to ensure sunny skies when you say ‘I do’, the best time of year is between March and October. For comfortable heat, opt for slightly cooler months in September, October, or earlier in the year in May. Summertime in July and August is perfect for beach bathing but might be too hot and busy for weddinggoers in suits and beautiful gowns.
