Planning a destination wedding has become effortlessly convenient. From enchanting destinations such as Cyprus, Mauritius, Barbados, to the picturesque Santorini, there’s a dream location for every couple. Yet, creating a dream wedding overseas from the UK wasn’t always as seamless. That’s where The Wedding Travel Company stepped in. Drawing from three decades of travel industry expertise, founders Luke Nathan and Noel Nurhat shifted their attention to creating unforgettable destination weddings.
In the decade since its launch, The Wedding Travel Company has seen a dramatic shift in the industry landscape, with a surging demand for destination weddings. Whether enticed by pristine beaches bathed in endless sunshine or seeking an intimate gathering, every couple has a unique narrative behind their decision to say “I do” abroad.
The biggest shift came during COVID-19. In the uncertain times, couples looked for alternative options away from the UK, and it is a trend that remains highly popular today.
