To be able to marry in Greece you will need to be resident for between 7 and 8 days. You will require your full birth certificate and passport as well as other legal documentation depending on your previous marital status. You will require a certificate of no impediment from a solicitor. Once documentation has been obtained they must be sent to the Foreign Office to get an Apostile Stamp, All legal documentation required must be translated into Greek and legalised by the Greek Consulate. This procedure can take time so please make sure you allow plenty of time for this.
