Wedding venue information

You will find the beautiful Pyrgos Restaurant nestled above the winding vineyards at the top of Santorini's Pyrgos Village, where it commands views across the sea and volcano. Pyrgos village is a stunning wedding destination and the former capital of Santorini.  It’s also the best-preserved medieval settlement on the island, allowing it to have retained its authentic Greek atmosphere and history. The village, built in the heart of the pre-volcanic hinterland, sits at the foot of the Mt Profitis Ilias affording panoramic views of the rugged coastline and lush green hills. As you meander down the tiny alleys and white arches by the whitewashed houses with their blue rooftops, it is easy to forget all your worries and enjoy the moment. The village is host to several fiestas and many gatherings in the main square. There are family-run bars, taverns, and restaurants that provide sumptuous food made from home-grown produce. It is easy to see why this hidden gem has become a popular spot for weddings in Greece.
