FAQ'S

1.Is there lots of paperwork I need to arrange to be able to marry in Turkey?

All couples are required to produce photo ID but you will also need to provide proof that you are free to marry.

2.What are the average temperatures?

During the summer months it can be exceptionally hot reaching high 30`s or early 40`s so be sure to check the temperatures for when you would like to travel.

3.Is it a religious service?

When getting married in Turkey you have the choice of civil or religious ceremonies, let us know what your preference is and we will find the right place for you.

4.Will the service be in Turkish?

The ceremony in most cases will be in turkish with an English translator.

5.Will my wedding be legal in the UK?

Yes as long as all the relevant paperwork requirements are met your wedding will be legal.

Legalities

To be able to marry in Turkey you will need to be resident for 1 day. You will require your full birth certificate and passport as well as other legal documentation depending on your previous marital status. All information is for guidance purposes and based on british passport holders, couples need to obtain and research there required documentation
