The Salgados beach is a wide beach that can be walked for several miles and, beyond the dunes, you will find the Salgados Lagoon, a stopover for many migrating birds and were a number of protected species nest amongst the reeds and rushes. Flanked by marshland and a wooden promenade, it is the perfect place to stroll and take in the natural surrounding beauty, which is why it is becoming increasingly popular for people looking to have their wedding in Portugal. Take a walk into Albufeira’s Old Town and you will experience Portuguese life with its cobbled streets and traditional whitewashed houses, not to mention the authentic Portuguese restaurants and bars. With ceremony venues such as the large gazebo in the tropical garden, surrounded by swaying palm trees and views of the ocean, where your guests are seated whilst watching you take your vows, you will feel like a prince and princess. For your wedding reception meal, you have a choice of menus, including a vegan menu, or you can tailor make a menu to suit your taste. The finest wines are on offer to toast the happy couple, with carefully decorated tables set up in the lush gardens. For your honeymoon the accommodation is both luxurious and spacious, with private bathrooms, bathrobes and slippers, and a private terrace. Rooms for guests with limited mobility are available upon request.
